The map is based on a map drawn by Lars Östlin according to R. Wołągiewicz (1974). The original is found in in Kaliff's Gothic Connections. Contacts between eastern Scandinavia and the southern Baltic coast 1000 BC – 500 AD (2001:27). Other sources: Andrzej Kokowski "Archäologie der Goten" 1999 (ISBN 83-907341-8-4)
